| The academy class was able to see first hand the effects of OC / Pepper Spray. Both Joel Ashe and Robert McCarthy volunteered to be sprayed and were good sports during the entire time. These two deserve a pat on the back for the pain and suffering that they endured. It is fair to say that everyone has a new respect for this force option that police are sometimes required to use. |

Thanks to Trooper Asselin and his K-9 Laser for their outstanding class and demonstration. Trooper Asselin was able to give the academy class a full understanding of the police K-9 and its functions. |
