SAFE SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL
NEEDS YOUR HELP!

MISSION

"We will work to develop programs and policies that will effect positive change in student attitude regarding the use of illegal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco in the Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District.  We also intend to promote sound decision making and positive self-esteem by utilizing all community resources.  We hope to generate a strong community interest and action in an attempt to assist the young people of our district.  Our primary concern is the health and safety of our community."

In the past ten years the council has initiated many programs to keep our community safe for our children:

Students Assisting Students

Peer Mediation

Stress Management

Smoking Cessation

Peer Mentoring

Playground Mentors

District Prevention Specialist

School Resource Officer

PLEASE attend a meeting to find out more about the council and how you can help.  We need your ideas and input to make it work.

MEETINGS ARE THE THIRD TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH LOCATED IN THE MEDIA CENTER AT CONANT HIGH SCHOOL FROM 6:30 TO 7:30 P.M.
