JAFFREY POLICE ASSOCIATION

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Jaffrey Police Association is a non-profit organization created by the members of the Jaffrey Police Department.  With one of our main objectives being "community service", the Association has endeavored to support the Conant high school students who are seeking a college education in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice or other Safety Services field.  To further this endeavor, the J.P.A. has made available a $500.00 scholarship to assist Conant High School seniors who wish to pursue a career in the above mentioned areas and have been accepted at an accredited college or university.  If the scholarship program is of interest to you, and you meet the applicant guidelines, complete the application form, which may be printed out from this site, and contact your school counselor for further details.

Applicant Guidelines

  Applicant must be completing or have completed their senior year of high school.

  Applicant must include high school transcripts 

  Applicant must submit proof of residency within the town of Jaffrey.  

  Applicant must present proof of acceptance to an accredited college or university.

  Applicant must present proof of enrollment in a criminal justice or other safety services program as outlined above.

  All applications must be complete and must be signed by your high school Dean of Students or school counselor.  Incomplete applications will be judged accordingly.

  Applicants must be of high moral character and possess no criminal record.

Note:  Only one scholarship will be awarded on a yearly basis and the recipient will be determined by a review board within the Jaffrey Police Association.  By completing and submitting an application, applicants consent to a local records check.
